Privacy Policy

• Account: when you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and an email address. You can choose to hide your email using Apple's private relay.
• Profile: the username, display name, bio, and profile photo you add.
• Content you post: your profile details and listening activity are visible to people you connect with.

With your permission, Listnd reads your Apple Music library and currently playing track to show friends what you're listening to and to calculate music compatibility. We store track and artist names (text metadata) — never audio files. You can decline or revoke Apple Music access at any time in iOS Settings.

• To run the core experience: your profile, the friend feed, search, and music compatibility.
• To send notifications you've turned on (for example, when a friend starts listening).
• To keep the community safe: filtering objectionable content and reviewing reports.

We use your information only to provide and improve Listnd.

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, and Analytics) to operate the app, and Google Cloud Vision to screen profile photos for objectionable imagery. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We do not share your data with advertisers.

You can delete your account at any time from Edit Profile → Delete Account. Deletion permanently removes your profile, username, listening activity, friends and connections, playlists and library data, and profile photo, and revokes Listnd's access to your Apple ID. Some records may persist briefly in backups before being overwritten.

• Permissions: Apple Music, notifications, and photo access are optional and can be changed any time in iOS Settings.
• You can edit or remove your profile information within the app.
• You can block other users and report content that concerns you.

Listnd is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

We use industry-standard measures, including access controls and encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
